Looking for something a bit different, then how about an eel / unagi restaurant. Unagi is a freshwater eel and is a common ingredient in Japanese cooking. Located an 8 min walk from JR Ikebukuro Station or a 3 min walk from Higashi-Ikebukuro Station on the Yurakucho Subway Line. Open till 3am Monday to Friday, so great place to head after a night out.
