Talbott Vineyards Tasting Room, Carmel

Talbott Vineyards offers two flight options for visitors who want to sample their wines. Depending on the option you choose, you can taste either four or five wines. You also have the option of tastings that exclusively incorporate Chardonnay or Pinot, perfect if you have a preference for one or the other of these.

Visitors can choose from themed tasting rooms with Western or food truck themes. There is also a traditional tasting room where you can sample your wines along with appropriate food pairings. If you prefer to do your tasting outdoors, you can do so in a setting that has beautiful views.

The staff will explain the growing process for each of the grapes used in the wine, as well as how each variety is produced. One feature that visitors enjoy hearing about is the soil samples used to highlight the conditions for all the grapes. These tastings give visitors a good perspective on what goes into wine-making.
