Galleri Christoffer Egelund is located at Bredgade 75. The gallery's purpose is to promote local and international contemporary art by innovative, young artists in particular. The gallery hosts temporary exhibits by unestablished artists, who typically experiment with various forms and media.

2) Mikael Andersen Gallery
Mikael Andersen Gallery, open for more than a decade, has witnessed the evolution of Danish contemporary art over the years. It is located near to Christoffer Egelund Gallery at Bredgade 63. This gallery specializes in modern and contemporary art and promotes young Danish and international artists.

3) Lisse Bruun Gallery
Galleri Lisse Bruunis is a tiny modern art gallery hidden on Store Kongensgade Street. The gallery exhibits mostly abstract and figurative artwork, including paintings, sculptures and graphics. It is a very pleasant place to visit and boasts a minimalist decor and refreshing atmosphere.

4) Heede & Moestrup Gallery
Heede & Moestrup Gallery is another fine gallery dedicated to the exhibition and development of modern art. It is a 4-story gallery that promotes both local and international artists, especially from the Cobra group. The gallery is located at Borgergade 17D and is considered one of the finest art spots in Copenhagen.

5) Galerie Asbæk
In business for more than three decades, Asbæk Gallery is one of the most popular art spots in Copenhagen. The gallery has a fine reputation and hosts work by many famous artists. The gallery showcases artwork in fairs, festivals and at international exhibitions. The gallery focuses on artists from the 1980s and '90s.

6) Birch Gallery
Birch Gallery is one of the most well-known art galleries in Copenhagen and is the oldest gallery of modern art in Denmark. The gallery's founder, Børge Birch, has worked with many Cobra group artists and international names. Today, Birch Gallery houses important temporary exhibitions that can be visited seven days a week from 11AM to 5PM.

7) Galleri Faurschou
Galleri Faurschou is located at Store Strandstræde 21 in central Copenhagen. It is a gallery with a great history that focuses mostly on pieces by famous international artists. The gallery showcases modern and contemporary art and was one of the first galleries in Denmark to exhibit Bruce Nauman, Gerhard Richter, Andy Warhol and others. It also hosts some important art fairs.
