Victoria located in British Columbia has a rich history and interesting people to tell it. It also has some outstanding religious sights. We offer, below, a tour that will take you through some of the most interesting religious places in Victoria.
1) Christ Church Cathedral
Christ Church Cathedral is an amazing structure that is home to a great religious congregation of Anglican tradition. The first building of the Christ Church Cathedral was built in 1872. Since then it has been renovated several times and now it is really an outstanding structure, very beautiful and imposing.

2) St. Ann's Academy
St. Ann's Academy is an important landmark of Victoria and a National Historic Site. The building was constructed between 1858 and 1871 as the first Anglican Collegiate School for Girls in Victoria. It was also the first Roman Catholic Church in the city. The chapel is still open to the public.

3) Church Of Our Lord
Church Of Our Lord is one of the oldest religious congregations in Victoria. It was established way back in 1874. The church is a beautiful architectural structure of Gothic style and has a great organ. The Church Of Our Lord has been declared a Federal Heritage Building.

4) St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church
St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church was established in 1866 and is located in an impressive building with an amazing tower and huge doors, in Downtown Victoria. The structure was built in the Scottish Baronial style.

5) St. Andrew's Cathedral
The St. Andrew's Cathedral was inaugurated in 1892 and is a 116-year-old structure of Victorian style. The building is very beautiful, with stained glass windows, pipe organ, episodes of the Christ’s life and a very rich history. The church building was designed by Maurice Perrault and Albert Mesnard.

6) Temple Emanuel
Temple Emanuel is one of the oldest synagogues in Canada. It was established in 1863. The synagogue has a lot of social activities and is also open to tourists. The building was designed by John Wright and is a National Heritage Building.

7) First Metropolitan United Church
First Metropolitan United Church was formed in 1997 when the Metropolitan United Church merged with the First United Church. It is a beautiful, Gothic Revival structure designed by J. C. M. Keith. The church is very active and a pleasant place to visit.
