1) Palais Rohan
The Rohan Palace was built in 1784 as the residence of the Archbishop of the province in the place of an older building with the same function. On either sides of the Palace there are two wings that were built in 1880 to house the Museum of Fine Arts. In 1837 Palais Rohan became the City Hall.

2) Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux
An outstanding cultural venue of the city is “Grand Théâtre”. It is the oldest wooden frame opera house in Europe. The theater features an impressive neoclassical style façade supplied with 12 Corinthian giant columns holding an entablature with 12 statues on it, which represent nine muses and the goddesses Juno, Venus, and Minerva.

3) Les Alees de Touny
Les Alees de Touny is a 265 meters long alley, bordered on one side by buildings with Louis XV style facades. And beautiful nineteenth century houses are alined on the other side of the alley.

4) Monument Aux Girondins
The Monument Aux Girondins has an immense esplanade which was dedicated to the glory of the deputies of the region, and to the Republic as a whole. Its marvelous fountains are an important part of the city's patrimony and serve as reminders of the basic values which the city of Bordeaux adopted: education, fraternity and peaceful understanding.

5) Place de la Bourse
Place de la Bourse and the magnificent building standing here are situated near the Garonne River. The design of the edifice, of its arched facade and the gorgeous fountain in front represents a perfect combination of several architectural ideas making this place one of the main attractions of the city. Today, Place de la Bourse houses the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

6) Place du Parlement
Place du Parlement is a tribute to the powerful Bordeaux Parliament, which first settled here in November 1462 in the palace of Ombrière. The square was once the Royal Market Place, which later, after the French Revolution, was renamed the Walk to Freedom. The beautiful neo-renaissance fountain, located in the center of the square, dates since the Second French Empire.

7) Porte Cailhau
The Cailhau Gate was built in 1494 and was one of the main entries to the city of Bordeaux at the time. It has a very interesting and rich history that you would definitely love to learn about. And as you go to the the top of Porte Cailhau you will be amazed at the gorgeous view over the city and the Garonne River. There are tours available here for up to 19 people.

8) Pont de Pierre
Pont de Pierre Bridge, built over the Garonne River, is the main and most beautiful construction in the city. It connects two regions of Bordeaux called “Cours Victor Hugo” and “Quartier de la Bastide”. Designed and built in Honor of Napoleon Bonaparte, it represents a construction of seventeen connected arches, the exact number of letters in the Emperor's name. This landmark is great for walking and admiring the stunning surrounding views.
