1) Alhambra Lounge
Located on McLachlan street, the Alhambra is an award winning nightclub and lounge. It offers quality live music, as well as DJ sets in a mix of different genres. Head to this top lounge to relax in a unique interior and enjoy a great night out.

2) Family
It may not sound like it from the name, but Family is actually a thumping nightclub where you're guaranteed to have a long, delirious night. You'll hear every kind of dance music here spread across three separate originally designed dance floors. In fact, some say it's the best club in the whole city.

3) Monastery Nightclub
The Monastery is another of Brisbane's top clubs. It hosts the best DJs in town every weekend and stages outrageously enjoyable performances during the week as well. It's a little pricey, but well worth it if you enjoy a good club atmosphere.

4) Love & Rockets
Remember Star Trek? This gentleman’s club has got the look and feel of a luxury 1970s lounge crossed with the Starship Enterprise! Regardless of the decor, it is famous for its 5 star comfort. Its top attraction is the first two-story lap dancing room in all of Australia.

5) The Zoo
Conveniently located at the intersection of Ann Street and Warner Street, the Zoo is one of the oldest nightspots in the city. Open Wednesdays to Saturdays, it's got plenty of beats on the soundtrack, plus rock and pop and many more. It's also a great place to meet some friendly new people.

6) The Met
Prepare to be amazed by this massive club when you first step inside. This state of the art entertainment center has five different bars spread across three levels. Look out for both top DJ sets and great live performances here. Styled with beautiful gold-colored mosaic tiles, the Met has also got a top level of customer service.

7) Mystique Nightclub
The Mystique is the biggest R&B nightclub in Australia. If you're an R&B lover, come here to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the large venue, stage performers and VIP section. It's also got the unusual distinction of having the largest concert sound system in the whole Southern Hemisphere.
