Villa des Arts
1) Villa des Arts
Villa des Artes is a multi-cultural centre established to promote contemporary arts, which also makes up Marocan culture. It consists of one of the largest museums in Casablanca, the first private one in the country. The museum features more than 800 artworks in permanent exhibitions, organizing also temporary exhibitions annually by international and local contemporary artists.

Chorfi Art Gallery
2) Chorfi Art Gallery
One of the few places in Casablanca where you can go and enjoy some contemporary and modern local art is Chorfi Art Gallery. It is located on Mustafa El Maani street, close to Hassan II avenue. Chorfi Gallery, a prestigious space for exhibiting various artists' works, actually offers a permanent selection of Moroccan and international works.

Galerie Athar
3) Galerie Athar
Galerie Athar is one of the bests spots to find antique art works in Casablanca. It showcases a wide selection of African, Moroccan and even European antiquities, as well as pieces of art, photography, ceramics, sculptures and paintings from all eras. This gallery is also valuable for exhibiting various Art-Deco pieces and photos of Art-Deco buildings in Casablanca from the 19th century.

Cinema Rialto
4) Cinema Rialto
Besides being an entertainment spot and a historic attraction, this cinema also talks about Casablanca's foreign cultural influences. The cinema was completed in 1930, when the art-deco style took over Casablanca's architectural tendencies. But what is especially great about Rialto is that it still works as a cinema, where you can go anytime, grab a popcorn pocket and enjoy a good local or international movie.

Complex Cultural Sidi Belyout
5) Complex Cultural Sidi Belyout
The Sidi Belyout Cultural Center is close to the Avenue de l'Armee Royale on Léon L'Africain street. It is one of very few places in Casablanca to present authentic drama and music, the complex being a large theater that hosts plays, music concerts and dance performances. The complex also contains a special area reserved for any kind of exhibitions, mostly artistic.

Theatre Mohamed VI
6) Theatre Mohamed VI
Another popular cultural venue of Casablanca, Mohammed VI Theatre, is in the Belvedere area of the city. Launched in 2006, this long-awaited theater hosts a wide variety of cultural events, from plays to dance performances and rap concerts. It is very famous for hosting especially international events. If you can't catch any performances there, make some time to simply take a look at the beautiful building, completed in an Art-deco style with Arabic influences.
