1) Phuket Racing Karts
If you are a daring tourist and like activities that get your blood pumping, Chalong is the right place to satisfy your need for adventure. The 700 meter track is an excellent place for go-karting. You can rent two kinds of karts: single-seat and double-seats karts. The double-seat karts have one adult seat and one for your child. The Racing Kart area is part of the Phuket Shooting Range entertainment complex, where many other sports attractions will raise your adrenaline even more! The complex is open daily from 9 am till 6 pm.

2) Green Man Pub
One of the most popular bars on the coast is the Green Man, a Tudor-style English pub situated in a well-known meeting area of the town. A perfect place to drop in with your friends or mates, the pub's charming atmosphere, high-quality drinks and marvelous food are certain to make your Thai vacation even more memorable. The friendly staff is always happy to welcome you. Tender, flaky fish and all kinds of seafood, steaks, mushroom pies, bacon and clam chowders, and cornish pasties will tempt your taste buds. The pub boasts a wine cellar with Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Nebbiolo. The Green Man also allows you to enjoy excellent cigars in certain rooms.

3) Kinnaree House
A stop at Kinnaree House is in order if you wish to purchase some souvenirs, as it is the largest gift shop in the area, with lustrous pearls, silverware, and elephant souvenirs among its many offerings. If you have children accompanying you on this trip, they will be entertained by the 30-minute show at the Monkey School Section. During this show, monkeys play catch, ride tricycles, pick coconuts, and perform other charming tricks. Be sure to visit the Cobra Show and Snake Farm as well, because you should not miss the chance to see almost 50 species of snakes. The snake show features king cobras!

4) Phuket Shooting Range
Men who visit Chalong often name the Phuket Shooting Range as their favourite attraction. Visitors can select from a large collection of weapons, including Colt .45s, 9mms, .22 Magnums, AK-47s, and M-16s. Several types of targets are also available. For your outdoor enjoyment, an archery range is available, with distances varying from 5 to 70 metres. If archery or target practice is not your forte, you can also try Paintball Asia, ATV rides, and clay pigeon shooting. The shooting range is open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Be careful, and good luck!

5) Villa Market
Another great shopping site is the Villa Open Market, located near the main Chalong Circle which is easy to find. The Villa Market is part of HomePro Village, well-known among locals. A wide variety of ecologically-pure products are displayed on tables for your purchase. The food items sold here are of the highest quality—nothing grown with hormones or pesticides is allowed. The vendors offer quality customer service and items that are unique to the market. The market’s operating hours are daily, from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., which means that you have ample time for visiting and shopping.

6) Marine Life
Children will enjoy visiting Marine Life Phuket. A variety of life-like mounted fish, made of high-quality resin and crafted in fiberglass, are on display. Khun Bancha, Marine Life’s owner, learned this complex skill from the worldwide-recognised master Ian Pike. Together, the two have created whales, tunas, barracudas, coral fish, leopard sharks, blue marlins, and jack mackerels. You can order a custom mounted fish for yourself or for a gift for a friend.

7) Chalong Beach and Pier
Phuket’s largest bay is also one of its most attractive. Numerous long-tailed and sailing boats dot the horizon. The shoreline is the principal anchorage spot for boats. Open-air spaces and kiosks with information for tourists are present, along with restaurants, bars, and pubs. However, the most-loved spot on the beach is the pier, which is 720 metres long and 7 metres wide. Its length impresses visitors, and should you visit in the evening, watching the sunset out on the pier is an experience you should not miss.

8) Orchid Farm
The Orchid Farm is a place that must not be missed if you love gardening and are an admirer of the weird yet beautiful flowers, the orchids. Located about three kilometers from the city, on the Thepkasattri Road, the garden is a fun place for both adults and children.
Covering a vast expanse of about 1600 sq. meters, the farm boasts a wide collection of these exotic flowers. From the orchids you get to see at the florists’ to the ones that are endangered and rare to find, this Orchid Garden has them all.
