1) ARoS Junior
ARoS Junior is located on the third floor of ARoS Aarhus Kunstmuseum. It is a place where children 16 and under can explore their creativity and artistic skills. There are two rooms, the Junior Workshop and the Junior Gallery.

2) Outdoor Skating Rink
The Outdoor Skating Rink is located between the Concert Hall (Musikhuseet) and City Hall. Admission is free and, if needed, skates can be rented. It is daily at 10:00 am, from November till March.

3) DGI House
The DGI House, opened in 2003, is a great place to exercise. Gymnastics, climbing and many other fitness activities are offered here. It also contains meeting rooms and a café with healthy menu choices. Its variety of services and modern facilities attract many patrons.

4) Legepladsen Skolemarken
Legepladsen Skolemarken is a popular children’s playground and an ideal place for your kids to have fun that is open every day. The playground’s staff provide various educational activities for children. It features a petting zoo with rabbits, goats and horses, as well as activities such as tennis.

5) Tivoli Friheden
Tivoli Friheden is one of the best places to take your children in Aarhus. It is a popular amusement park with over forty attractions for all ages, including such fun rides as the Cobra, the Pegasus and the Red Baron. A 90 km/h jump from the 50 meter Sky Tower is a great experience if you dare.

6) Sweets and Ice
Sweets and Ice, located in Marselisborg Port, offers a wide variety of ice cream. The combination of its delicious frozen treats and spectacular view of Aarhus Harbor makes it a must-see spot. It features 68 types of ice cream, including amarena, bambina, caramel and more.
