1) Aarhus City Museum

3) Concert Hall
Concert Hall (Musikhuset), located in the heart of the city, is the center of Aarhus’ cultural life. Containing two theaters, holding 1,600 and 316 seats, it offers a wide range of Danish and international performances.

4) BioCity Aarhus
BioCity Aarhus is a multiplex cinema. It features nine screens, offering 3D movies and all the latest in technology for the modern film experience. BioCity also contains a café, candy store and facilities for the disabled. Discounts are available for children, students and the elderly.

5) Aarhus Theater
The Aarhus Theater is the largest provincial theater in Denmark. Designed by Danish architect Hack Kampmann, construction began in 1898 and was completed in 1900. This Art Nouveau structure was built with an emphasis on natural materials, and its interior was designed by artists Hansen-Reistrup and Hans Tegner.

6) Occupation Museum
The Occupation Museum pays tribute to the period when Aarhus was occupied by Nazi Germany, from 1940 to 1945. Exhibitions feature the everyday life, tragic events, local resistance, Nazi military uniforms and more. It is open every day except Mondays.
7) Nyholm Cantrell Glas
Nyholm Cantrell Glas, located on Klostergade, is a workshop where you can witness the magnificent glassblowing process, creating such lovely pieces as vases, boxes and sculptures. Don’t miss the opportunity to see colorful glass items designed before your eyes.

8) Museum of Ancient Art
The Museum of Ancient Art, located in the main building of the University of Aarhus, is open from Monday through Thursday. Admission is free. It exhibits about 4,000 items, including a significant collection of Scandinavian coins. Most of the museum’s artifacts are from Ancient Greece and Rome.
