Karachi is a very big city and thus it respectively contains an abundance of large and stylish buildings. Some of the buildings are constructed in the tradition of Pakistanian culture, while others are built in correspondence to modern design.
1) Karachi Municipal Corporation
The Karachi Municipal Corporation was initiated in 1927 and was finally finished in 1932. When the building celebrated its 75th anniversary recently, a decision was made to renovate the entire structure. The infrastructure presents several different domes which reflect Pakistanian tradition and style.

2) Max Denso Hall
Max Denso Hall and Library is located at the corner of Mohammad Ali Jinnah Road and Murad Khan Road. Karachi was once a small port in the Talpur dynasty and thus developed into a major town during the conquering of the region by The British East India Company. The British realized the importance of this city as a military center and thus rapidly developed it for harboring and shipping.

3) Lakshmi Building
Lakshmi Building used to be the biggest building in Karachi. The dominant tower is used by the Lakshmi Insurance Company, which also constructed and owns several of the other famous buildings in the area. Lakshmi Building also features a large clock.

4) New Memon Mosque
The New Memon Mosque is one of the most beautiful mosques in the city. The mosque features three domes and two towers on each side of the religious center. The location was once used as a graveyard, but has since became one of the most visited venues in the region.

5) Merewether Clock Tower
Merewether Clock Tower, or Merewether Tower, is a memorial for Sir William L. Merewether, who served as 'Commissioner-in-Sindh' from 1867 to 1877. It is an important landmark at the confluence of I I Chundrigar Road (previously McLeod Road) and M A Jinnah Road (previously Bunder Road). Designed by James Strachan, the Municipal Engineer, the foundation stone was laid by the Governor of Bombay, Sir James Fergusson in 1884. It was formally opened to the public eight years later.

6) Port Trust Building
Port Trust Building was built in 1915 and later transformed into a large hospital during World War II. The building is developed in a neo-classical renaissance style. George Wittet was the the architect behind the ingenious building.

7) Library of State Bank of Pakistan
The Library of State Bank of Pakistan was opened in 1949 and is used today for the Supreme Court Registry Office's. The lower story's of the building provide a large library. The building is decorated with columns and is truly one of the most imposing banks in Karachi.

8) Habib Bank Plaza
Habib Bank Plaza used to host the tallest constructions in the country. In 2005 it no longer held that honor, but is still regarded as one of the most famous sky scrapers in the land. The tower extends 116 meters in the sky and was designed by Leo A. Daly. The plaza is the central headquarters for Habib Bank.

9) TechnoCity Corporate Tower
Technocity Office Tower is a seventeen story building and was developed by Le Group Arcop. The style of the Technocity Office Tower is pure modern. It is a very sophisticated project which definitely enriches the city's prospect. The building is used for commercial office.

10) MCB Tower
The MCB Tower is the highest sky scraper in the country. The architectural style of the building is modern, which is general for most new banks. The tower climbs 116 meters into the sky and includes 29 floors as well as three below ground.
