1) Circulo Cubano de Tampa
Circulo Cubano de Tampa was organized to help the Cuban residents of Tampa feel equal and comfortable among other nationalities. The center gives them the opportunity to continue to express their Cuban culture and learn the culture and history of Florida. It has continued to expand over the years and now houses a gym, cantina, medical clinic, theater, and library. There are educational expositions and different cultural events that present the history of Cuba through books, photos, and other historical items.

Muvico Theatre
2) Muvico Theatre
Muvico is an architecturally stunning megaplex theater that shows the latest movies on 20 screens. This state-of-the-art theater offers more than your standard seating and concessions. Here, you will find expanded concession menus, VIP areas with bars and restaurants, a children's playroom, and reserved seating. You can purchase your tickets online or at the box-office. This theater offers a movie-going experience you won't want to miss.

The 200,000 square-foot Florida Aquarium is one of the top-rated aquariums in the world. This absolutely beautiful facility is home to 20,000 aquatic animals and plants. Check out the alligators and otters in the "Wetlands" gallery or head over to the Coral Reef where you can participate in the interactive "Swim with the Fishes" program. Other activities include a behind the scenes tour and diving with sharks. This aquarium provides a whole day of fun for the entire family.

Tampa Bay History Center is a 60,000 square-foot non-profit institution located in Tampa's Channelside District. The goal of this center is to preserve and present the history of Tampa, from the settling of natives and Spanish conquistadors to the development of the cigar industry. Highlights of the center include theaters, permanent and temporary galleries, a cafe and a museum store.

Tampa Theatre
6) Tampa Theatre
Built in 1926 for an estimated cost of 1.2 million dollars, the Tampa Theater was the first theater to appear in the city. Designed by architect J. Eberson, it was the first building in Tampa to have air-conditioning. It has become a cultural landmark, as it has withstood the ever-changing advances movie theaters have undergone in recent decades. The theater hosts over 600 events yearly and its incredible interior design features a nighttime sky ceiling, complete with glowing stars and floating clouds.

7) John F. Germany Public Library
John F. Germany Public Library is a new facility with professionally designed meeting rooms for hosting various cultural events. This library contains a huge selection of books, magazines and educational resources for adults and children. They also host several recreational programs, book discussions and training sessions. Remember to stop by the permanent exhibition room where the works of local and regional artists are on display.

8) Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center
The Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, opened in 1987, is located in a beautiful downtown area along the east bank of the Hillsborough River. It produces a wide variety of concerts, performances, and cultural events that attract locals and tourists alike. The center is home to five different theaters, a conservatory, rehearsal hall, fashionable boutiques, and delicious restaurants.
