The Land of Beer, where each corner calls to you alluringly, welcomes visitors from all over the world. In Brugge, you will be amazed to find bars that offer a range of 300 beers along with a pleasant atmosphere and a guarantee of a wonderful time. There are many beer bars in the center of Brugge. Gather your friends and visit the best bars in the city.
1) 't Brugs Beertje
This amazing beer house opened for business in 1983. Also known as Brugge’s Little Bear, it gathers visitors from Japan, South America, New Zealand, and Europe under one roof, where they can taste the remarkable beer of Brugge. 't Brugs Beertje started with 120 beers and today features at least 300. But don't worry, the staff will be happy to help if you have a difficulty choosing one.

2) @ The Pub
If you are looking for something new, @ The Pub is the right place. It opened a few years ago, in the very heart of Brugge, near the Belfry. Its pleasant atmosphere draws you in, and after that you can hardly bring yourself to leave. @ The Pub is divided into two parts: the first is a lounge space, with specific music that will relax even the grumpiest person; the second is equipped with a bar where you can enjoy the taste of the Belgian beer and have a good time.

3) Staminee de Garre
Staminee de Garre is a wonderful two-story bar, serving 13 degree beer. It is well hidden, in a narrow alley, so you will have to look carefully to find it. The bar offers a cozy atmosphere and over 100 kinds of beer. Usually, each beer ordered comes with a free snack of cheese. In this bar you will hear the local dialect while enjoying the company of friendly locals.

4) Cambrinus
Legendary beer! If you are a true beer lover, here are some tips. At Cambrinus, they have Westvleteren, a beer that is hard to find because it is not brewed for commercial use and is produced only in small quantities. The second tip: over 300 beers are imprisoned here, waiting for you to set them free. The bar is housed in a historic building, dated 1699. In Belgium, Cambrinus is the King of Beer; you will see his image here in the form of a statue and an etched glass window.

5) De Kuppe
De Kuppe can be found near the Markt. It is a nice, modest beer bar, with wooden furniture. When it comes to the number of beers offered, it is not modest at all, with over 100 types. The bar is most popular in the evenings, but the interior is spacious, so it is not a problem if it gets too crowded. This place is worth a visit.

6) Cellar Pub De Zolder
If you are looking for quality beer, Cellar Pub De Zolder is your choice. De Dolle, Ellezelloise, and Hanssens are just few choices from the wide selection of beers offered at the De Zolder. The bar has a fireplace that is really useful in cold winters, and also creates a romantic atmosphere, something very few other bars in Brugge can offer. In English “Zolder” means “Attic”; don't let this fact confuse you, however, because the bar is in a cellar.

7) 't Poatersgat
't Poatersgat (The Monk’s Hole) was opened in 2007. It is a cellar bar with an extraordinary atmosphere -- special neon lighting and perfect alternative music, complete with little candles on the tables, make the environment cozier. The bar offers over 120 types of Belgian beer, ranging from light to strong. You will enjoy the friendly staff and excellent service at the Monk’s Hole.
