Victoria has some of the most interesting and fascinating museums dedicated to history, nature and arts. Take the walking tour below to see some of Victoria's most outstanding museums.
1) Victoria Police Museum
The Victoria Police Museum is located at the Victoria police station and it tells the story of the 150-year-old police force of Victoria, the oldest police force west of the Great Lakes, with artifacts and memorabilia.

2) Craigflower Manor and Schoolhouse
Craigflower Manor and Schoolhouse are both amazing architectural structures and a very interesting museum on the history of the formation of Victoria City. They are also National Historic Sites of Canada. The place is famous too, because of the ancient artifacts dating back to 2500 B.C., found here recently.

3) Maritime Museum of British Columbia
At the Maritime Museum of British Columbia all kinds of artifacts, model ships, weapons and other artifacts tell the maritime history of British Columbia. There is an exhibition on the history of the British Columbia ferry system too.

4) Miniature World
Miniature World is an amazing museum and one of its kind. It is full of all kinds of models and dioramas featuring the Old London Towne of 1670 or the Great Canadian Railway and many others. They also have great dolls' houses and the world's smallest operational sawmill.

5) Royal British Columbia Museum
The Royal British Columbia Museum is a favorite attraction with tourists in Victoria and it tells the story of the region from the ice age to present times. The museum also has some very exciting hands-on exhibits that children will like for sure.

6) Royal London Wax Museum
The Royal London Wax Museum is one of the most visited tourist attractions in Victoria. It has more then 300 wax figures featuring all kinds of celebrities located in some themed rooms. The figures were made at Madame Tussaud's in London.
