This is one of the most popular pubs in Galway. Having stood for more than 150 years, Taaffes Pub keeps the atmosphere of old Ireland. The building that houses the pub is more than 400 years old.

This two-room pub has also a seating area and a nice open fire. This is why the main characteristic of this pub is: comfort. When the weather allows there are also seating arrangements outside.

This pub has a clientèle that is drawn from a wide range of people: from businessmen to locals and tourists. You will find it in any guide and it definitely is a must go place in the city.

6) Quays Pub
You cannot miss for nothing this pub whose exterior is done in deep blue. It will be one of the first buildings you notice on the street. Inside there are plenty of objects imported from a French medieval church. So it will take you back in time and delight you with fine Irish beer.

Excellent during hot summer days, McAdlindens Pub is the place where you can enjoy a good beer and check out the horse racing. This pub has one of the longest bar counters in the city and a masculine ambiance.
