This fantastic pub packs crowds every evening and is awash with fun, fur and garish colors. It is the only bar in Edinburgh’s gay district with a largely female clientèle, and a lively place with a fantastic vibe. It offers plenty to keep its guests entertained throughout the week, featuring striptease and other scintillating attractions. The wait staff is lovely and friendly, making guests feel right at home, and offers some of the warmest service around.

2) Habana
Habana is a fantastic gay bar with a great atmosphere, located not far from the Playhouse Theatre. It is well worth a visit as it offers great parties and a very friendly staff who are always ready to help. It has a unique, opulent decor that attracts people to come and have a great time.

3) CC Blooms
This is a big and brash gay bar that attracts an eclectic mix of people to experience the vibrant nightlife, where guests come dressed in lively outfits to get into the spirit of things. The staff is very efficient and friendly. This is a cool bar and a great way to spend a few hours partying.

4) Club Ego
Club Ego is a friendly hot spot, a gay-friendly venue that provides a comfortable atmosphere with very reasonable prices on food and drink. The club has a regal ballroom style and hosts burlesque evenings, fashion shows, theater productions, and live music including funky techno and house nights.

5) New Town Bar
This well-established gay bar offers excellent pub grub, a full range of drinks and is an intimate and lively venue in Edinburgh. It is a hip nightspot that offers a wide range of entertainment, and is a great place to meet friends and have a fab time. The pub is laid back, with a unique funky atmosphere, good music and great service. The decor is quite kitsch, making it one of the city's coolest hangouts.
