1) Bruno David Gallery
The Bruno David Gallery, one of St. Louis’ most important art galleries, is located inside a red brick building in the Grand Center Arts district. Specializing in contemporary art, this gallery features the works of the best local artists as well as international ones such as Elaine Blatt, Martin Brief and others.

2) Pulitzer Foundation for the Arts
The Pulitzer Foundation for the Arts, established in 2001, was designed by architect Tadao Ando. It features various exhibitions and programs for the visual and performing arts. Exhibitions change every six months, except for the permanent display of Ellsworth Kelly's sculpture Blue Black. It is open Wednesdays from noon to 5:00 pm and Saturdays from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Admission is free of charge.

3) Sheldon Art Galleries
The Sheldon Art Galleries, established in 1998, consists of six exhibition spaces. Housed in the Sheldon Concert Hall, built in 1912, this 7,000 square foot space displays wonderful paintings, photographs, sculptures, architecture and more. Around twenty exhibitions are featured each year and admission is free of charge. It is closed on Sundays and Mondays.

4) Craft Alliance
The Craft Alliance, located in the Kranzberg Arts Center, was founded in 1964. It features works of art from the best local artists. It also offers a variety of free classes for those interested in crafting, as well as opportunities for emerging artists to display their work. It is open Wednesday through Saturday from noon to 6:00 pm, and Sunday from noon to 5:00 pm.

5) Greenberg Van Doren Gallery
The Greenberg Van Doren Gallery, established over thirty years ago, is well known for its post-war and contemporary art. Featuring the work of such artists as Carl Andre, Donald Baechler and others, it is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, or by appointment.

6) Portfolio Gallery
Portfolio Gallery, devoted to African American art, is located in a 19th century building. Featuring the work of local and international artists, it also offers art classes for all ages. It is open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and by appointment on other days.
