2) HofGarten
If you want to start your day with a pleasant walk, visit the famous HofGarten Park, located on Rennweg Street, is a public space meant to be enjoyed. It dates all the way back to the 15th century. The garden was first designed to produce vegetables, however four centennials later it opened as a public park. You'll find plenty of open space, benches, and even a café.

3) Tiroler Landestheater
Next to the HofGarten, tourists will discover the Tiroler Landestheater. The venue is one of the most famous opera and theatre houses in Austria as well as well Europe. The theatre is a true delight of decor and design, as it was established in the late 15th century.

4) Margit Kröll
Margit Kröll is a favorite place among pastries lovers. The highly popular bakery features a wide range of baked croissants, fresh bread, and flavored pastries. Margit Kröll also serves English and Asian teas, selected coffee, and a piece of cake along with your beverage.

5) Elferhaus
Elferhaus, Deutch for the "eleventh house", is located on Herzog Friedrich Straße 11. Elferhaus is a typical local pub, where citizens spend their afternoons or evenings while drinking beer and chatting with friends. Traditional wooden benches make the atmosphere of this place so warm and friendly, that it's hard to leave.

6) M-Preis SuperMarket
While exploring the city's streets and interacting with citizens, tourists will grow tired and hungry. The local supermarket, M-Preis, will satisfy your thirst or hunger. M-Preis is popular, especially on evenings and weekends. Fruits, vegetables, organic products for healthy nutrition, salmon, couscous, shrims, and several other delights are for sale.

7) Botanical Garden
The Innsbruck University Botanic Garden (Botanischer Garten der Universität Innsbruck in German) is a two hectare botanical garden operated by the University of Innsbruck. The gardens are free of charge and the greenhouses are open on Thursday afternoons. The garden was established around 1911, replacing an earlier garden elsewhere. It was redesigned between the years of 1948-1965. The first greenhouse was constructed in 1909, with three additional greenhouses added between 1977-1979. Today, the garden contains more than 5,000 species.
