It was founded in 1997 and has always focused on the exhibition of local artists and Modern Art. The Tiroler Landesmuseum Ferdinandeum is an impressive infrastructure with a vast collection of history, natural science, music, and art. Located on Maria Theresien Straße, where a multitude of various attractions and landmarks are situated, Kunstraum offers the ideal forum for experimentation, far from the gallery and museum constraints. Kunstraum Innsbruck was founded in 1996 as a charitable association and offers 300 m2 of exhibition hall for exhibitions, meetings, lectures, discussions, readings, and concerts.
