4) Fantasea
Started in 1998, the Phuket FantaSea in Phuket Town is a unique cultural complex and theme park which is perfect amalgamation of the exotic heritage of Thailand and cutting edge technology. The 140-acre theme park is situated on the Komala area near Patong. The magic shows, acrobatics, aerial ballet, elephant circus, mind-blowing stunts, colossal laser projections are some of the themes that attract a lot of tourists to the park.

The Palace of the Elephants is a theatre with state-of-the-art audio visual effects which blends illusion and culture into a spell-binding show that leaves the 3000-odd spectators speechless. Another highlight in this complex is the Fantasy of a Kingdom which hosts the extravagant Las Vegas styled theatrical incorporating the beauty of Thailand’s Myths, Mysteries and Magic with the support of 4-D effects, acrobatic pyrotechnics and other special effects. The Carnival Festival depicting Thailand’s architectural history at the entrance of the complex can be counted as yet another highlight. The complex also has a restaurant called the Golden Kinnaree Buffet Restaurant where over 4000 visitors can enjoy Thai and international cuisine. To complete the unforgettable experience, the complex has stalls in the facade selling locally made souvenirs, jewellery, silk, leather, unique items based on the Siamese twins and elephants, handicrafts, etc. A trip to Phuket without visiting the Phuket FantaSea is truly incomplete!
