Karachi is a city with several recreational options and the occasional museum to serve as a nice break from being active. Even if the museums are not as numerous as in other cities, they are extremely intriguing both for the young and for the elder generation.
1) PIA Planetarium
The PIA Planetarium is a tourist site organized by Pakistan International Airlines. The planetarium opened in 1985 and exhibits a big Boeing 720 as well as a spot where tourists can watch the stars, planets, and galaxies. The cosmic shows are amazing and highly recommended.

2) EXPO Center
The Karachi Expo Center is located in Gulshan Town and equipped with modern facilities. The center comprises three independent hall all of which are linked together for a grand total size of 6690 square meters. The Congress Centre supports the press, secretarial services, and a large kitchen and cafeteria, while the second floor is available for conferences/seminars.

3) National Stadium
The National Stadium is a cricket venue in Karachi. Cricket is very popular in Pakistan and is home to Karachi's domestic cricket teams. The stadium is able to accommodate 34,228 spectators, making it the second largest cricket stadium in Pakistan.

4) Karachi World War Two Cemetery
The Karachi World War Two Cemetery is the final resting place for all lives claimed during World War II. There are 642 graves in all. The graves do not have a name, but rather are written in Urdu and Hindi on Two Rolls of Honor. Also, the entrance to the graveyard is decorated with a large memorial.

5) Aga Khan University Grounds
The Aga Khan University (AKU) is a co-educational research university spread over three continents. The Sports and Rehabilitation Centre is built in a landscaped setting at the AKU Health Sciences campus. The Centre provides facilities of international standard for various indoor and outdoor sports, as well as for water sports. Other features include three cricket pitches, a 480-metre jogging track, four tennis courts, a patients' rehabilitation centre, a children's play area, and a well-equipped gymnasium.

6) Arena Recreational Center
The Arena Recreational Center is an entertainment complex for people of all ages. The attractions of this site are very diverse, some of them include paintball, rock climbing, virtual games, pool, ice skating, and a bowling alley. When the visitors are tired, they may relocate restaurant, café, or desserts bar.

7) Maritime Museum
The Pakistan Maritime Museum is a naval museum and park located on the naval estate at Habib Ebrahim Rehmatoola Road. The main museum building is located inside the park and presents six galleries as well as an auditorium. The museum is focused on modern concepts of presentation and interactive education.
