If you want the full-on Berlin shopping experience, take a trip to Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf where you can buy just about anything that your heart desires. Make the 3.5-kilometer (2.2-mile) long boulevard of Kurfürstendamm your main port of call. The lengthy boulevard and its leafy side streets are filled with an abundance of upmarket stores and boutiques. This haven of good shopping is the most visited shopping street in the city where you can purchase high street fashion brands as well as the latest, most exclusive looks created by some of the biggest names in fashion. The elegant sidewalks are also lined by specialty boutiques, department stores, restaurants and cafés. When you have finished your shopping extravaganza, get ready for another and make your way over to Kudamm, Berlin's most popular shopping promenade. Browse the racks and shelves of its specialty stores and boutiques. But that’s not all, because Kudamm merges into Tautentzienstrasse, which is home to food halls and such mainstream shops as Benetton, H&M and Zara. At the end of the road is one place you definitely shouldn't miss, and that is the famous department store Kaufhaus des Westens, or KaDeWe for short. There are seven exciting floors to explore with fabulous ranges of luxury and exclusive products.
