Innsbruck is a very conservative city, however there is a small market for people who prefer the same sex. Once you find one of these spots, you will discover that the people are very friendly, the staff is helpful, and the bars are top rate.
1) M+M
Are you searching for a special atmosphere? M+M Bar, situated on the famous Innstraße Street, is a classic venue with terrific cocktails and a very diverse menu. The Cosmopolitan, Scotch Whiskey, Bourbon, Vodka from Finland, Poland, and Russia are especially recommended. The lounge is also very comfortable and generally crowded.

2) Le Boy
After visiting M+M, make your way to Le Boy. Le Boy is an exclusively gay bar, designed for bisexuals, lesbians, and transvestites. The bar is very good, with a multitude of alcohol available. Le Boy also carries on some historical significance as it was the first gay bar to open in Innsbruck.

3) Dom Café
Full attention and friendly service is guaranteed at the gay café/bar Dom Café. The place is very easy to find due to its central location, and offers delicious wine and beer. The historical atmosphere, embellished with old chandeliers will provide a nice atmosphere.

4) Limerick Bill's
Limerick Bill's is one of the coolest Irish Pubs in the whole city. The drinks go down hard and the people are friendly and talkative. The whiskey and marvelous cocktails are first class, and the staff is very courteous. The music is also very diverse and has something for everyone.

5) Café Central
Café Central, located in the famous Hotel Central, is a coffee house designed in the old Viennese style. The café provides a very romantic atmosphere with phenomenal decorations. Café Central opened in late 1875 and has since been a very popular hang out.

6) Bacchus
Bacchus is truly special, and different from the other nightspots in the city. Bacchus is a gay bar, so consequently the crowd and atmosphere is a little different. The club is located in a cellar, with phenomenal interior design and furniture.

7) Project Innsbruck
Project Innsbruck is a famous nightspot as it arguably features the best live music in the cit. The doors generally open at 9 pm., however the wild parties do not usually begin until 10:30 pm. or later. Hip-Hop, Funk, Ska, Electronic, and Reggaeton are all popular genres at Project Innsbruck.
