2) Zan Comedy
Located on Beverly Boulevard, Zan Comedy is a club run by Zan Aufderheide. All of Zan's shows are funny, friendly and autobiographical. She performs clean comedy appropriate for people of all ages and backgrounds.

3) Groundlings
Opened in 1974, Groundlings has hosted some world famous improvisational actors such as Phil Hartman, Kristen Wiig and Paul Reubens. Visiting Groundlings is a good chance to see a rising star, who may be a huge celebrity in a short time. The entertainment at this comedy club consists mainly of improvised on-the-spot skits and sketches.

4) ACME Comedy Theatre
Founded by M.D. Sweeney in 1989, ACME Comedy Theatre offers a variety of comedy performances. This comedy club has staged such big stars as Alex Borstein, Fred Willard, Joel McHale and Adam Carolla.
