Created in 1909 by Anthony Ryan and his wife, this shop earned the name of "Galway’s leading fashion store." Here you can find fine woolens, and also yarns. All kinds of knitting supplies representing some of the best in Ireland are also available here. Anthony Ryan sells clothes made from Aran wool that the region is famous for.

6) O'Maille
O'Maille has one of the finest selections of hand-knitted traditional Aran clothes. The shop is associated with the best Irish tweeds and fashions in this part of the country. This was the shop chosen to dress the cast of the "The Quiet Man", a movie production of the '50s. O'Maille is the place where tradition meets contemporary trends.
