1) State Museum of Belarusian Literature History
The State Museum of Belarusian Literature History was established in 1987. The museum is located in one of the most beautiful regions of the city - Trinity Suburb. The State Museum of Belarusian Literature History is the leading museum in the documentation of the literary process in all of Belarus.

2) Maxim Bogdanovich's Literary Museum
The Literary Museum opened its door in 1991, or the 100th year of birth for the great writer, Maxim Bogdanovich. The museum is considered one of the most interesting museums in the capital, located in a stone house which is also a fine architectural monument. Inside, visitors will enjoy the collection of books, manuscripts, photos, and other personal objects from the famous writer.

3) Museum of Fire-Fighting and Rescue of the Ministry of Emergencies
The Museum of Fire-Fighting and Rescue opened its door for the first time on August 18, 2001. The museum consists of five separate sections, all of which educate visitors on all of the stages of formation and fighting against fire and natural disasters. The museum covers everything from the inception of fire-fighting in the Middle Age to the present day.

4) Museum of the Ministry of Internal Affairs
The Museum of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is situated in the historic center of the city in a very exotic building that serves as a modern architectural monument. The museum opened on November 11, 1987. The exhibit offers a fantastic collection on the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

5) National Museum of Culture and History of Belarus
The National Museum of Culture and History of Belarus is the biggest historical museum in the city. Tourists will cherish the unique collection of material and spiritual goods related to Minsk. The museum covers everything from 40,000 B.C. to present day.

6) National Art Museum of the Republic Belarus
The National Art Museum of the Republic Belarus offers the most impressive collection of art in the local region. The collection of pre-revolutionary Russian and Belarusian, as well as Western and Eastern art composes the approximately 27,000 pieces of art found inside this terrific museum.

7) Vankovich Museum
The Vankovich Museum is a member of the National Art Museum in Minsk. The building in which the museum is located also serves as a monument of architecture from the Classicism era. Vankovich hosts three permanent exhibits: The Life and Creation of Valentin Vankovich, The Portrait of the Belarusian Manors, as well as The Interior of Manors in the Classical Era.

8) Museum of the Great Patriotic War
The Belarusian Great Patriotic War Museum commemorates the efforts of the Great Patriotic War which took place after the end of Nazi occupation. The museum first opened shortly after the liberation of Minsk from Nazi invaders (1944), making it the first World War II museum to open during the course of the war. The exhibit relocated to its current location in 1966.

9) Yanka Kupala Literary Museum
The Yanka Kupala Literary Museum was established in 1944. Its collection is dedicated to one of the most important poets of the Belarusian people, Yanka Kupala. The museum contains not only his biography, but also the manuscripts, letters, and other documents related to Kupala.
