1) Masquerade Club
Founded in 1989, the Masquerade Club is housed in an old mill building. The venue is one of the country's unique nightclubs. The club is divided into three areas: Heaven, Hell, and Purgatory. Heaven features a live stage, Hell is a dance floor with DJ music and Purgatory is the game room. It has also an outdoor back area called the Music Park that is a great place to chill out. Clermont Lounge
2) Clermont Lounge
Opened in 1965, Clermont Lounge is a kind of a heritage place in Atlanta's nightlife. The club features a circular bar - that serves only strong drinks - and a jukebox. On Saturday nights the place is filled with DJ Romeo Cologne's music. The club was featured on Comedy Central's "Insomniac with Dave Attell" and some of past clientele include Marilyn Manson, Kid Rock, and Jon Stewart. Clermont Lounge has plenty of space to dance so you can be sure you'll have a great night out.

Dark Horse
3) Dark Horse
Dark Horse is a dark dive bar with a great atmosphere. The club is located on North Highland Avenue. It is one of the most visited bars in the neighborhood for almost 20 years and it has been recently redecorated into a stylish establishment. Make sure that you visit this place when you're around.

Blind Willie's
4) Blind Willie's
Blind Willie's features live blues from all around the country as well as local acts. Open from 8 pm onwards, the club will greet you with a bar menu that includes excellent drinks and delicious bar food. But what the people usually come here for is the music which is divine. Nice staff, excellent live music, great bar - what more can one ask for?

Star Community Bar
5) Star Community Bar
Star Community Bar has recently passed into the hands of new owners and has been converted from a rockabilly club into a great night club with live music that features local bands as well as national acts. The crowd is very friendly and open minded. If you happen to be in town on Saturday night, don't miss the opportunity to check this club out.
