1) Pablo Casals Museum
Pablo Casals Museum is dedicated to the celebrated cellist and humanist, Pablo Casals. It is located in an historical 18th century building in Old San Juan, which features original manuscripts of his music, memorabilia, photos, his prominent cello and his piano.

2) Museo de Nuestra Raiz Africana (African Heritage Museum)
Museo de Nuestra Raiz Africana is dedicated to African heritage, which played a significant role in Puerto Rico’s cultural development. In this adobe-styled museum you will learn about the history and life of Africans in Puerto Rico, from the time of slavery to the present. It contains nine exhibition rooms, featuring African art, literature, musical instruments and pictures.

3) Taino Ethno-Historic Museum
This interesting museum is located in Casa Blanca, a famous historical building in Puerto Rico and former residence of its first governor, Juan Ponce de León. Here you will find various original native artifacts and other exciting things.

4) Museo de Doña Fela (Felisa Rincón de Gautier Museum)
Felisa Rincón de Gautier Museum is in a colonial building that is the former residence of Felisa Rincón de Gautier, the active mayor of San Juan. The museum contains exhibits about the mayor's life, including documents, furniture, plaques and other memorabilia.
5) Museo del Niño (Children's Museum)
This pink and green building, located near a small, shady park is the only children's museum in Puerto Rico. This great museum features interesting hands-on exhibits and interactive presentations where children also learn simple lessons.

6) Museum of the Sea
Museum of the Sea, dedicated to Puerto Rico’s maritime history, contains various interesting exhibits, including maps, a wide collection of maritime tools and other naval items. The museum informs visitors about the island’s history since the Age of Sail.
