Sandton is a region in northern Johannesburg, the name derived from two places in Great Britain. This region is known for the Nelson Mandela Square and statue, who helped bring democracy to South Africa.
1) Ritrovo Bar
Ritrovo Bar is well-known in Johannesburg because of the good drinks and dishes it offers. The music is great and and gives insight into the culture of Johannesburg.

2) Nelson Mandela Square
Nelson Mandela Square is dedicated to the famous statesman and first democratically elected president of South Africa. There is a statue of Mandela located in the center of the square, welcoming visitors.

3) Nelson Mandela Statue
The Nelson Mandela statue is located in the square of the same name. It is dedicated to one of Johannesburg’s most well-know figures. It is very tall and symbolizes the rise of democracy in South Africa.

4) Sandton City Office Tower
Sandton City Office Tower is connected to Nelson Mandela Square by bridge and contains a mall. The 20-story tower has business offices of well-known companies.
5) Color Café
Color Café is a great place where children can have fun with their family and friends. This café provides materials and an opportunity for children to express themselves artistically. There is also an exposition of children’s works of art on display.

6) Bidvest Wanderers Stadium
Bidvest Wanderers Stadium is a large, beautiful cricket stadium. It is well-known for hosting the Cricket World Cup and for hosting games of the most famous cricket teams.
7) The Wanderers Club
The Wanderers Club is a sports club where visitors can learn to play cricket, hockey, basketball, take karate lessons and other sports. It is a popular and longstanding South African club.
