1) El Rastro
Offering many rare items, including ones not found for sale anywhere else, El Rastro has gained a somewhat undeserved reputation as a thief’s market. From obscure bicycle parts and antiques to bizarre items and souvenirs, this street market is a good place for a fascinating walk.

2) Sampaka
Sampaka is the chocolate heaven of Valencia. True chocolate lovers will never forget this wonderful place. Everything here is cacao-related. With white and milk chocolates in many shapes to suit any taste, Sampaka offers the finest quality treats to its guests. Besides extraordinary sweets, novel gifts including candles in coconuts and incense sticks can be found here.

3) El Corte Ingles
El Corte Ingles is the largest department store in Valencia. One can find anything for sale here. By anything we mean clothes, shoes and jewelery to TV sets, computers, food, toys and souvenirs. There are also many restaurants and coffee bars to take a break from all the shopping.

4) Mercadillo de Ruzafa
This is a real street market with tons of clothes, shoes, bags, toys, clocks and many other low-price items. You may not find the best quality goods here, but you will have a fun time getting lost between all the colorful T-shirts!

5) Flower Market
Flowers certainly make any occasion look and smell better. Valencia offers a wide assortment of them and this market carries anything from precious daisies to majestic roses. Flowers at any price and any color are available here.

6) Plaza Redonda
Sleepy afternoons, siestas, live accordion playing and perhaps the music of Carmen are all part of the characteristic Spanish setting of Plaza Redonda. A great spot to find the best ceramics, souvenirs and gifts in a mysterious, historical setting with beautiful architecture.

7) Mercado Central
Mercado Central is a large daily food market offering local produce and Valencian delicacies. Originally built in 1928, it is now a stunning glass and metal structure worth seeing. Mercado Central offers a large variety of colorful and tasty goods with many places to eat and drink.
