Jaipur’s exotic markets are full of bright, exotic objects that highlight the culture and customs of the Rajastan region. You can find all kinds of great gifts to take home, like jewelry, pottery and handicrafts. If you want something special for your home, there are also lots of miniature pictures, carpets, textiles and leather goods.
1) Badi Chaupar
Badi Chaupar is a famous shopping square located just meters from the Hawa Mahal Palace. This square is always crowded with shoppers, who come for the crafts made by local masters, antiques, clothes and Jaipuri print dress material.

2) Tripolia Bazaar
The Tripolia Bazaar specializes in ironware, brass-ware and carpets. Jaipur is famous for its elegant and colorful carpets. Each comes with an interesting motif - humans, landscapes, flora, fauna and different shapes are all used as designs. Open Monday to Saturday, the bazaar also offers other popular Indian products.

3) Kishanpol Bazaar
The Kishanpol Bazaar specializes in textiles and wooden furniture. Here you’ll find the best Bandhani textiles in the traditional local style. Its fabrics are made according to a special method with amazing prints like checkered designs, diagonal strips, circus scenes, shakari, human and animal figures and many others.

4) Nehru Bazaar
The Nehru Bazaar specializes in popular 'Mojri' footwear, a comfortable style of shoe made of soft camel leather and artistically embroidered. There are also shops here selling fabrics, sari, leather bags and local perfumes. Open daily, except Tuesdays.

5) Chandpol Bazaar
Chandpol Bazaar is a large street market in the Old City selling every imaginable kind of product. It is a great pleasure to simply walk around and look at the bright and colorful wares, which include jewelry, pottery, spices and textiles. There are a lot of clothes for women, men and children. Don't forget to bargain for the best price!

6) Gem Palace
The Gem Palace is the perfect place to buy exceptional jewelry. Celebrities, such as Hollywood stars and princesses have shopped here. Founded in 1852, the palace also holds a number of interesting antique pieces with precious stones that are not for sale, but can be seen and admired.
