1) Manuel Tavares
This shop is located near Rossio Square. It is one of the oldest stores in this area and dates back to 1860. It offers many collections of wines, sweets, ham, cheeses, fine chocolates, olive oil, vinegar and canned fish. It is the right shop to head up to if you're looking for some typical Portuguese products, especially eatables and fine wines.

2) Paris em Lisboa
Located in Chiado region of Lisbon, Paris em Lisboa is an old-fashioned shop with contemporary household designs. The store offers beautiful tablecloths, sheets and hand-embroidered nightdresses. The towels provided by the shop are made of 100% cotton and are available in a wide range of colors.

3) Azulejos Sant'Ana
Not far away from the Paris em Lisboa shop, is Azulejos Sant'Ana, a factory shop that has been producing handmade decorative tiles since 1741. The shop still sells copies of the 17th and 18th centuries designs. The store creates handmade designs and its artisans are some of the finest in Europe.

4) Casa das Velas do Loreto
Casa das Velas do Loreto is a candle shop that dates back to 1789. It is a very old store and is housed in a tiny space. Their candles, especially the scented ones, are the most wonderful. The shop has been making them in all shapes and colors for over 200 years.

5) Ratton
This is a shop and gallery located in the Bairro Alto region of Lisbon. It has, on display and for sale, contemporary designs by Portuguese artists such as Paula Rego. Lots of interesting exhibitions are held throughout the year and the entrance is free of charge.

6) Solar
Solar is an antique shop offering tiles from the fifteenth to the nineteenth centuries. All these incredible collections come from old palaces and churches. The store is divided into several sections, each organized and classified into the periods to which the tiles belong. The shop also sells decorative woodworks and antiques.

7) Principe Real
This shop has the same name as the district where it is located. It is a cloth store that specializes in elegantly designed linen and offers manual embroidery work that can be made to order. It creates some of Europe's finest tablecloths and sheets that were sold to European royalty.
