1) Suzhou No. 1 Silk Factory
Suzhou No. 1 Silk Factory, located in south Suzhou, is an important manufacturer of the local silk industry and has a very solid reputation. The store provides a wide range of silk fabrics, traditional clothes as well as other items of interest. Visitors can also learn about how the production of silk works.

2) Sheraton Hotel Shop
In the prominent Nanmen Commercial Area at the basement of Sheraton Hotel, tourists may visit the Sheraton Hotel Shop. This shopping venue retails an assortment of double sided embroidery, a special commodity in the Chinese culture.

3) Renmin Road
Renmin Road is a popular shopping destination, home to a number of different shops and stores. While visiting Renmin Road, make sure you check out Suzhou Cultural Relics Store, Suzhou Foreign Language Bookstore, Taihua Mall and Times Supermarket.

4) Shi Quan Street
Shi Quan Street is one of the most important shopping streets in the city, also home to a large number of first-rate shopping venues. Here you will find fashionable clothes, Su embroidery, splendid handcrafts, as well as antiques, paintings, pottery and porcelain.

5) Guanqian Street
Guanqian Street, a business street situated in central Suzhou, provides a number of century-old stores and famous local brands, such as Daoxiangcun, Huangtianyuan, Caizhizhai, Cai Zhi Zhai and Huang Tian Yuan. Guanqian Street is well worth a visit.

Suzhou Embroidery is famous all over the globe and is often consider the top manufacture for its niche. Situated on Jingde Road, Suzhou Embroidery Research Institute combines scientific research, manufacture, and retail of embroidery. It's a must-visit!
