Museum of History of Belarusian Cinema
2) Museum of History of Belarusian Cinema
The Museum of History of Belarusian Cinema is situated in the center of Minsk in a beautiful court between Hotel "Minsk" and The Red Church. The cinema was established in 1976. The permanent show list includes films that present the golden collection of Belarusian Cinematography, as well as those which are part of the honorable list of UNESCO's World of Cinema.

Yanka Kupala National Academic Theatre
3) Yanka Kupala National Academic Theatre
The Yanka Kupala National Academic Theatre is the oldest theater in Belarus. The theatre first opened its doors on September 14, 1920. It is located in the building of the Minsk provincial theater. In 1944, the venue was renamed in honor of the classic poet of Belarusian literature, Yanka Kupala.

Trade Union Palace of Culture
4) Trade Union Palace of Culture
The Trade Union Palace of Culture opened its door in 1956 and continues to bustle with outstanding performances to this very day. Every year, visitors may indulge in the roughly 700 events or so that are featured at the fantastic venue. It's not uncommon for hundreds of people to flock to this palace on any given day.

Belarusian State Circus
5) Belarusian State Circus
The Belarusian State Circus is the ideal place to find good humor and surprise performances. The circus is situated on Independence Avenue and has a capacity of 1667 seats. Witness the funny clowns, acrobats, wide range of animals and birds, as well as the many other aspects that make the Belarusian State Circus a must-visit.

Belarusian State Philharmonic
6) Belarusian State Philharmonic
The Belarusian State Philharmonic officially opened in 1937 and quickly became the main hall needed to unite the best orchestras of all of Belarus. The cultural center has truly played a major role in the development of Belarusian music. The program of Philharmonic consists of folk and symphony ensembles, as well as different genres ranging from classical to jazz.

7) Cinema October
October Cinema is located on Independence Avenue (the main avenue of the city). The cinema's program always consists of the newest and greatest films of the moment. The huge hall features a big screen, good sound, as well as comfortable seats. Cinema October is perfect for a night with friends and/or family.
