1) Central Market
Located on D-r Piskiuliev street, the Central Market is the largest street market in Varna. All year round you can buy here the freshest fruit and vegetables, as well as cheap footwear and clothes, produced mainly in Turkey. There are also some great stores nearby where you can find quality jewelry. Look out for the famous fish store selling fresh fish from the Black Sea.

2) Blaga Blagoeva
For something uniquely Bulgarian wear, there's no better store than Blaga Blagoeva. Run by a very well-known Bulgarian fashion designer, it is full of colorful and interesting clothing. With all the latest ideas in fashion, this store has got loads of special items for you to choose from.

3) "Blue" Market
The "Blue" market is very centrally located, just meters from the Cathedral. Here you can pick up lots of great souvenirs, books and clothes. There are also fruit, vegetables and food products on sale.

4) Slanchogled
This store is a great place to pick up arts and crafts materials. Its stock includes watercolor paints, gouache, papier-mache, pastel, brushes and canvases. With regular promotions and sales, you might find some nice art materials at a good discount here.

5) Capricorn Gallery
This small, pretty gallery sells paintings and sculptures by local artists. You will definitely find something to suit your taste among the many beautiful pieces here. They don't come cheap, but there's no better way to find something unique and artistic to decorate your home with.

6) Slivnitsa & Kniaz Boris I Shopping Area
This shopping area has a wide selection of Bulgarian goods and top international brands. Beginning at the central entrance of the Sea Garden on Slivnitsa street, this shopping area continues on Kniaz Boris street down to the city's biggest fountain on Independence square. Among the shops, cafes and banks here you'll see top international brands like Escada, Benetton, Mango, Max Danieli, New Yorker and Adidas. There are also famous Bulgarian names presented here like Dika, Batti Baleno, Daphne, Capasca and Miro.

7) Chataldzha Flower Market
This is one of the most famous flower markets in the city offering a great selection of flowers. As well as being a top spot to pick up a bouquet for your special someone, it's also a bright and cheerful spot simply to walk around and admire the beauty on sale.

8) Chataldzha Market
This market is located on Chataldzha street, close to 8-mi Primorski Polk Boulevard. Here you can buy fresh fruit and vegetables of the highest quality all year round. There are also lots of other stalls and stores here selling interesting stuff.
