Besides the fabulous palaces and gorgeous Baroque style buildings, Vienna also features modern towers and skyscrapers. Many of them were constructed in the early 20th century and, as usual, represent business offices or apartment buildings. This tour will show you some of the skyscrapers and towers that will impress you with their modern architecture and contemporary design.

Hochhaus Neue Donau
1) Hochhaus Neue Donau
Hochhaus Neue Donau, also known as Seidler Tower, is the tallest Austrian residential building. It has 34 floors and measures 150 meters in height. The top floor of the building includes 5 split-level penthouse apartments with wonderful panoramic views from the terraces.

Tech Gate
2) Tech Gate
Tech Gate is located at the entrance to Donau City. It has a modern environment and offers an ideal location for events with up to 600 people. At the top of the tower, on the 19th floor, you will find the Tech Lounge which features a wonderful panoramic view of Vienna.

Andromeda Tower (Andromeda Turm)
3) Andromeda Tower (Andromeda Turm)
Andromeda Tower was designed by Wilhelm Holzbauer and is another modern office building in Donau City. Completed in 1998, the tower was named after a figure of Greek mythology. It consists of 30 floors and has a total height of 113 meters.

ARES Tower
4) ARES Tower
Construction of this modern building of Donau City started in 1999 and finished in 2001. It was built by the Neumann & Partner construction company. It includes office space, a sky lobby, caféteria and an underground car park.

Saturn Tower
5) Saturn Tower
Designed by architects Hollein and Neumann, this is one of the most modern office buildings in Vienna. It has a height of 89 meters and its 23 floors house offices of different companies. Saturn Tower also offers a wonderful view over Vienna. Its contemporary glass surface attracts a lot of attention.

Mischek Tower (Mischek Turm)
6) Mischek Tower (Mischek Turm)
Mischek Tower was designed by Delugan Meissl and was built between 1996 and the year 2000. The tower represents Austria’s tallest apartment building with 35 floors and a height of 110 meters.
