Taipei is the business, commercial and cultural heart of Taiwan. It's Zhongshan District, situated in the western part of the city, takes it's name from Sun Yat-sen, also known as Sun Zhongshan. 1) Rong Xing Garden
Rong Xing Garden is always crowded with tourists and locals. This European-style garden is one of the most popular city destinations, as it seems to be a small island of nature in the midst of huge architectural creations around the city. The garden is open to the public year-round.

2) Xing Tian Temple
Xing Tian Temple was built in 1967 and is the youngest, but busiest, temple in Taipei city. It occupies more than 7,000 square meters of ground. It is believed, that even area surrounding the temple is under the influence of supreme forces and can provide answers to any question asked or help with any trouble.

3) Miniatures Museum of Taiwan
The Miniatures Museum of Taiwan was founded in 1997. It has a variety of thematic collections, which include objects made by Chinese and European craftsmen. The museum also organizes classes for children, giving them an opportunity to create tiny figures on their own.

4) SuHo Memorial Paper Museum
SuHo Memorial Paper Museum provides visitors with an opportunity to learn many interesting facts about a simple object we are all familiar with- paper. Visitors of all ages may try their hand at producing paper and will learn all the secrets of paper-making and its developmental history.

5) Ten Shang's Tea Company
Ten Shang's Tea Company was founded by Mr. and Mrs. Shang more than 25 years ago. Now, it is known all over the city as the best place to buy any type of tea imaginable and everything you need to prepare it using traditional methods. The teas sold here are organically grown.
