Florence's Pub Guide

Florence's Pub Guide

Florence, the city of art and beauty has no problem in mastering the art of the nightlife as well. Local pubs are very popular and appreciated among the Florentines and the tourists. Locals and native English speakers that study or live in the city cannot wait to welcome tourists in their cozy circle of friends and show them a great night time around. Most of them are easy to find and they are all around Florence drawing a line between Santa Maria Novella to Oltrano to San Lorenzo. Like most cities, Florence pubs share the traditions and non-pretentious environment brought over by the Irish, British and even by the Australian. Because of the influx of students that come every year, sometimes all of these places can be packed and things can get a little crazy but this doesn't mean that you can't still get a great pint, a shepherd's pie or some banger & mash at any hour of the day or night. Although most of them close their doors at 2 AM, some will stay a lot later to please their customers and maintain a good drinking and chatting atmosphere. You can mostly find everything you need, from WI-FI Networks, restrooms, directions, big TV screens featuring all kinds of sports and most importantly a new crowd of friends. Whatever your choice of pub is, you can definitely find it in Florence.
