Taking its name from the phrase “1 of a kind,” 1 OAK is located in the center of the trendy Chelsea district in New York City. 1 OAK features a state-of-the art sound system and an assortment of DJs from around the globe, including surprise performances from time to time, making it one of the city’s hottest nightspots for years. Being such a hot spot, 1 OAK maintains an exclusive door policy and it can be rather difficult to gain entrance to this exclusive club. Design is upscale, with Oak beams on the ceiling, mirrored walls in the partially enclosed smoking room, and black and white zig zag floor tile pattern.
