The Craft Center was established in May 1987 by the Generalitat Valenciana, through the Ministry of Sustainable Economy, Productive Sectors, Commerce, and Labor, and the Honorable Valencia City Council. Their joint efforts aimed to harness the potential of the artisan community, recognizing its significance as an integral part of the Valencian productive fabric and a custodian of the region's artistic and cultural heritage.
