Chiesa Armena di San Gregorio Illuminatore, Livorno

The church of St. Gregory the Illuminator is an old Armenian Catholic church. Three beautiful statues decorate its stern neo-Classic facade, which was once just a porch that preceded the entry itself. The side statues symbolize Charity and Faith, while a statue of St. Gregory occupies the center. The building has suffered a lot of damage during WWI and WWII. Nevertheless, the architectural features of the church will still remind you of glorious Roman and Greek classical designs that will leave a lasting impression.
