Church of Our Lady of Mount Caramel and St. Agnes, Genoa

The church of Our Lady of Mount Caramel and St. Agnes (Chiesa di Nostra Signora del Carmine e Sant'Agnese) is one of many historical churches of Genova. Being two separate churches in the begining: The Church of St. Agnes and The Church of Our Lady of Mount Caramel, it is only in 1799 that the churches were united into a single one. The church of Our Lady of Mount Caramel and St. Agnes keeps one of the few remaining rectangular apses intact, typical of the Gothic and Mendicant Orders in the 13th century.
