The Church of St. Benedict was built at the beginning of the 19th century in the neo-Classical architectural style. It was designed by Gaspero Pampaloni to honor the legacy of St. Benedict. The father of Tuscan neo-Classicism, Pasquale Poccianti, also contributed to the look of the church. The interior houses beautiful oil paintings and a Greek cross set on four pillars.
