El Pantéon de Belén (Santa Paula Cemetery), Guadalajara

El Pantéon de Belén was originally known as Santa Paula Cemetery and is located in the northern part of the city. It is a historical cemetery that was opened in 1848. Here you will find graves of the most important historic personalities from Jalisco. In the center of the cemetery is situated a chapel, dedicated to Santa Paula. Under the chapel you will find a mausoleum where rest the most significant figures of Guadalajara's history. The cemetery is a place of many mysterious legends and night tours.
