In addition to salsa, El Son features a range of other Latin-influenced sounds, like bachata and merengue, as well as Caribbean music throughout the week, which makes it a popular spot for Madrid’s Latin American community. Music is served up by both DJs and live bands. Because of its location in the center of the city, El Son attracts a fair amount of tourists from other parts of the world as well.
