Espaço Pasárgada is a museum that displays a great collection about the life and creations of the famous poet Manuel Bandeira. The museum is located within his grandfather’s two-story mansion that was built in 1825 and is a neoclassical architectural beauty itself. The collection includes works, photos, articles, movies and other memorabilia. The place is also used for different literary events. Espaço Pasárgada is located in the Rua União, between Rua Riachuelo and Rua Princesa Izabel, right near the Agência do Trabalho (Employment Agency). The museum is opened on Mondays – Fridays from 9:00 until 17:00.
