Instituto Cultural Banco Real, Recife

Instituto Cultural Banco Real was built as office space for the London River Plate Bank Ltd. Now it is the headquarters of the Instituto Cultural Banco Real and a very popular tourist attraction. Also triangular-shaped, it is a true masterpiece of Beaux Art architecture. Be sure to notice the cylindrical turret facing the Marco Zero plaza. The building houses three galleries, an auditorium, libraries and a panoramic terrace. The exhibitions within the Instituto Cultural Banco Real showcase artwork by emerging and well-known Brazilian artists.
