Oratorio S. Francesco Piccolino, Assisi
The Oratorio S. Francesco Piccolino is a religious building in the center of Assisi.
It was built starting from the thirteenth century thanks to the initiative of Piccardo, nephew of the saint, in the place where it is said that Donna Pica gave birth to St. Francis of Assisi. Adorned with frescoes painted over a period of time dating from the thirteenth to the fifteenth century, in 1926 it was restored to its original features.
