A happening little spot in the Marais district of Paris, La Perle appears at first glance to be a non-descript dive bar. Inside, fashionistas, models, and a trendy crowd of artists and hipsters gather for an evening of tempting appetizers, including a variety of cheeses and other light French fare, and reasonably-priced drinks, including a decent wine list. Cafe seating facing the street is a popular place to hang out in the early evening, and the inside décor of the bar is decidedly understated and hip. DJs usually entertain the crowd later on in the evening with a good mix of danceable electro-pop for guests to get down to.
