Museo de Arte del Banco de la República, Bogota

The Republican Art Museum opened in 2004 as a new art venue, located within a block south of the Luis Angel Arango Library, in the historic center of Bogotá. The three-story “white box” building in the middle of the colonial entourage was designed by architect Enrique Triana Uribe Bogotá who, for this project, received the National Architecture Award in 2006. In a large room of 500 square meters, located on the second floor, is a permanent exhibition, dedicated to twentieth century Latin American and European art. The third floor is reserved for temporary exhibitions of contemporary American art.

Operation hours: Monday - Saturday: 9:00 am - 7:00 pm; Sunday: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
